In2scienceUK is an award-winning social mobility charity which exists to unlock the potential of young people from low socioeconomic backgrounds and boost diversity and inclusion in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) industries.
In2scienceUK was founded in 2010 by Rebecca McKelvey, who aimed to provide young people from underrepresented backgrounds an opportunity to gain practical insight into the STEM sector, as well as the knowledge and confidence to progress within their education and careers.
We run three dynamic programmes which are completely free for our participants: In2STEM and In2research offer in-person placements and careers workshops for Year 12 students and undergraduates respectively, while our online In2careers platform provides exclusive careers resources and opportunities.
