Established in 1947 with an aim to represent issues of tax consultants and increase awareness in tax payers, the Income Tax Bar Association is one of the oldest and active bar association in India.
Activities : A Bird Eye view :
The association is regularly organizing R.R.C., Conferences, Study Circle meetings, Brain Trust Meetings so on & so forth for the benefit of the members. The most noteworthy example of our activity is to carry taxpayer’s awareness & educational Programme for the benefit of public at large and that too without charging any cost under the banner ‘Kardata Jagruti Abhiyan’ and R. T. Shah Knowledge lecture Series.
No professional associations carry on such activity in the interest of the taxpayers at large.
In past almost all the dignitaries visited our association in the Programme. Prime amongst them are Hon’ble Finance Ministers, Chief Justices of the Supreme Court, Members of the C.B.D.T.
