India Energy Transition Summit Overview

As you are aware, India’s commitments towards climate action outlined in the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Panchamrit statement have brought together stakeholders across the spectrum to achieve the vision outlined by him. Energy Transition has become the most important pillar to achieve the climate goals. A smooth energy transition requires a robust ecosystem to enable the transformation through technology readiness, capacity upgradation, climate finance, regulatory reforms, and new & innovative business models. Aligned to the transition journey, FICCI is organizing the 2nd edition of India Energy Transition Summit 2023 on September 25-26, 2023, at FICCI Federation House, Tansen Marg, New Delhi. The event is expected to have participation of more than 300 participants and more than 50 speakers spanning across two-days. The current edition would focus on green hydrogen ecosystem, solar & wind energy, investment opportunities, international tie-ups, energy storage, financing, capacity augmentation, among others. The key objective of the event is to have deliberations on the energy transition roadmap, adopting best practices from global energy transition for India and vice versa. Shri R K Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Power and New & Renewable Energy has kindly consented to grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
