Indian Association (IA) Shanghai is founded under the auspices and patronage of the Consulate General of India, Shanghai.
IA was established in 1997 with the goal to create a platform where ideas are exchanged, events are organized, charity work carried out and seminars being conducted for and by the Indian community residing in Shanghai.
IA has a robust framework, a transparent way of working, an inclusive approach and a voluntary mode of functioning.
Our yearly cultural, sports and charity events have evolved into being calendar events on the Shanghai social scene - not just for the Indian community, but for the community at large.
