Indian Development Center (IDC) is a not-for-profit pan India organization registered under Societies Act, founded in 1999. It presently serves as Uttar Pradesh Resource Center for Waste Management for the Government of Uttar Pradesh housed by the Directorate of Urban Local Bodies to extend technical capacity assistance to municipal solid waste and faecal sludge & septage management. The senior team at IDC consists of professionally accomplished staff with a background of working with organizations such as UNICEF, UNDP, WSUP, GIZ and government agencies while young members of the team are from CEPT and NITs. IDC collaborates closely with TETHYS DEVELOPMENT SERVICES (tethysindia.org).
