A new regenerative platform for the Indian Ocean Islands - Far from the major continental centers, the islands of the Indian Ocean constitute fragile natural and social ecosystems, subject to significant risks due to climate change, the degradation of natural resources, technological shift, demographic pressure in small territories. The Indian Ocean Islands Foundation focuses on the Commons through preservation and conservation of natural and cultural heritage, in line with socio-economic well-being of communities that are stewards and users of that heritage.
