The Indian Rubber Institute (IRI), established in 1987, is a professional body committedto advancing India’s rubber sector through education, training, and technical excellence.IRI brings together technologists, engineers, scientists, academicians, and industryprofessionals to promote knowledge sharing, skill development, and capacity buildingacross the rubber and tyre value chain.With over 4,000 life members and a strong network of eight branches in Kolkata,Chennai, Delhi, Vadodara (Guj), Mysuru (Karnataka), Perembra (Kerala), Mumbai, andUdaipur (Raj.), IRI is a leading force in specialized training for the rubber sector. It is atechnical affiliate of the American Chemical Society (ACS) Rubber Division, USA,enhancing global academic and industry linkages. As a key contributor to the Rubber,Chemical & Petrochemical Skill Development Council (RCPSDC), IRI has helpeddevelop over 75 National Occupational Standards (NOS) for the rubber industry. It alsorepresents International Rubber Conference Organisation (IRCO), UK, expanding itsglobal presence. IRI’s programs benefit professionals and students who may not haveaccess to formal higher education to help building skilled, future-ready workforce.To further strengthen its academic mission and support industry growth, IRI hasestablished the Dr. D.
