INDIAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION OBJECTIVE: ISA is a nonprofit and non political organization. It is affiliated to all the associated students of University of Colorado at Denver. The purpose of ISA is to promote and increase awareness of South Asian heritage and culture through education community involvement and providing forum for social networking. Over the past few years ISA has become one of the largest and most active student organizations on campus. We have more than 1900 members with 8 years of history. We conduct huge annual shows like Diwali and Holi. The south Asian culture is one of the world’s oldest and most captivating using a series of lectures, musical and dance performances and various other traditional celebrations. ISA always have worked to promote the education of this culture and heritage. Our organization represents a huge population of students on campus. ISA has bagged an Award of “Outstanding Diversity Program” in the year 2008 – 09 from University of Colorado Denver
