Indiana Fire Trucks first came on-line in March of 2004. Originally, the site was created as a way for Christopher Allen to share apparatus photographs from the various places visited. However, through word-of-mouth, the site has grown quickly with more than 8,000 photos and 600+ photos of uniform patches.
We have visitors from more than thirty countries and every state in the US. But a majority of our visitors continue to be firefighters and fire apparatus enthusiasts from Indiana and the Midwest.
Indiana Fire Trucks is made up of 6 photographers who travel around the state to photograph various departments. We try and keep the site as fresh as possible but without being directly involved with the departments we photograph. We rely on our visitors to keep us updates on there department(s).
