IndiaTech Hong Kong

We are a community initiative to serve as a platform for engaging of Investors and Entrepreneurs with an interest in Indian startup ecosystem, in Hong Kong, China Greater Bay and in India and our aim is to: • Engage Community and build awareness of Indian Startup Ecosystem • Be a bridge between India & the China Greater Bay area • Enable investments in the sector • Provide support for Indian start-up entrepreneurs IndiaTech HK held our first community event as a satellite event during the Startmeup HK Festival Week in January 2018, which was sold out and had a great response from the community. This was our first event to engage the community and build awareness of Indian Startup ecosystem and be a platform to act as a bridge between India and China, leveraging off Hong Kong's Status as super connector. This was followed by IndiaTech Pitch Day in July, for high quality startups to present to top VCs and Investors. We had over 650 Startups applications, with over 30 partners and sponsors. This event was organised alongside the Consulate General of India in Hong Kong and Metta. The top 6 shortlisted startups took part in Asia's first virtual startup pitch, with CootLoot winning the first prize. Three of the other five startups got investment interest from the VC Judges from Click Ventures, Isola Capital, Integrated Capital, Radiant Ventures, NRI Startup India &Venture Catalyst.
