IndieXL is een Nederlands online radiostation met de beste Indie en het beste uit NL. Op IndieXL krijgt Nederlands talent ruim aandacht en hoor je ook de nieuwste bands uit Engeland, Amerika en andere landen. Je hoort muziek van bands die op festivals staan als London Calling, Lowlands, Best Kept Secret, Down The Rabbit Hole, Eurosonic/Noorderslag en Motel Mozaique. Maar je hoort ook de bands en artiesten van de Grote Prijs van Nederland en de Popronde.
IndieXL is een initiatief van Dennis van Leeuwen en André Wit. Al jaren is Indiemuziek een genre dat veel te weinig aandacht krijgt op de Nederlandse radiozenders. En dat terwijl er hele volksstammen op Lowlands en andere festivals uit hun dak gaan op Indiemuziek. Waarom is er dan geen (goed) Nederlands Indieradiostation vroegen Dennis en André zich af? Goed, er zijn andere zenders die ook wel eens Indie draaien, maar daar hoor je ook weer de bekende 80’s en 90’s hits of andere genres. IndieXL startte haar uitzendingen op 5 oktober 2013.
