The Indo IT Club helps to promote the professional and personal growth of IT professionals with an Indo and Moluccan background by creating a community focused on knowledge sharing, collaboration, and cultural connection.
We build a diverse and inclusive IT community where cultural values such as solidarity and respect, are celebrated, and where members support each other in both their careers and personal development.
Everybody is welcome with an Indo or Moluccan background, or has a partner with this background or cherish our culture and like to pass on our culture heritage to the next generation.
We like to organize networking events “Makan Makans”, - regular meals 4 times a year in the region -, “Kumpulan”, – one big event a year -, workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions – on request -.
But also we foster the cultural connection by playing music via the Indo IT Club band.
We create a platform where members can build lasting professional and personal relationships. And we support members' career development through mentorship and collaboration.
Cyber Security Expertise
We are a community of IT professionals, many with expertise in cybersecurity. With more than 200 members on LinkedIn following, the club plays a key role in addressing current cyber trends, including Zero Trust architectures, ransomware defense, cloud security, and the increasing impact of AI in cybersecurity.
Our diverse perspectives and collaborative approach help members tackle these challenges through knowledge-sharing, networking, and mentorship. As geopolitical tensions intensify cyber threats, particularly in sectors like finance, healthcare, and critical infrastructure, the Indo IT Club’s members contribute valuable insights to protect against international risks and strengthen cyber defenses.
