The Industrial and Biological Multiphysics Laboratory research focuses on continuum mechanics with an emphasis on fluid dynamics in biomedical and industrial applications. Our lab utilizes rheology, tribology, in vitro flow loops, and computational modelling to investigate engineering problems associate with liquid crystalline materials, bio-lubricant performances, cardiovascular flow, and synovial fluid. We currently have nine active members with shared facilities in Pulp and Paper Center, Advanced Materials Process Engineering Laboratory and The Institute for Computing, Information and Cognitive Systems
