InformNorden Nordic Public Transport

InformNorden was founded in 1998 by the public transport authorities in the Nordic capitals of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. InformNorden aims at bringing together users and suppliers of public transport Information Technology to stimulate the use and development of IT in public transport by exchange of experience, requirements and standards. The main activities of InformNorden focus on: - - organising the annual InformNorden conference - stimulating research and development of public transport related telematic solutions - establishing and supporting Nordic working groups on ITS within public transport and . As an established networking forum InformNorden also offers an opportunity for members and conference delegates to exchange information and experiences in order to improve public transport IT-solutions and so better meet the needs of users. InformNorden is led by a steering group (board) with members from each of the 5 Nordic countries. This year the InformNorden conference will take place in Oslo, Norway on the 27th to 29th of October 2025
