The “Innovation and Teaching Excellence Learning Lab” or in short “I-TELL” will officially launch on 01st July 2024. I-TELL is a group within the Faculty of Business and Law at Manchester Metropolitan University, dedicated to fostering innovation, promoting excellence in teaching, and advancing scholarship.
About I-TELL
The name "I-TELL" reflects the essence of knowledge dissemination and sharing inherent in teaching and learning practices. The term ‘lab’ further accentuates a sense of playfulness and creativity. Indeed, I-TELL aims to serve as a dynamic space for experimentation, exploration, and innovation in teaching and learning within the Faculty of Business and Law. As a faculty-wide group, I-TELL will provide a collaborative environment where faculty members can exchange, experiment with, and disseminate ideas on pedagogical approaches. Through its playful yet purposeful approach, I-TELL aims to foster excellence in teaching and learning by facilitating collaboration, advancing scholarship, supporting professional development, and promoting the sharing of best practices across departments and schools. I-TELL is spearheaded by Dr Katharina De Vita and Prof Peter Wolstencroft.
