Since its establishment in 2015, the Innovation for Wellbeing Foundation (IWF) has been dedicated to promoting mental health equity in Bangladesh. Our primary focus is on developing an inclusive and high-quality community-based mental health support system for underserved children and young people, including individuals with disabilities, girls, and young women in marginalized communities.
IWF has been advancing mental health equity in Bangladesh for six years. As the exclusive license holder for internationally recognized mental health first aid training, our team of 74 national trainers has trained 10,000 certified mental health first aiders and 20,000 mental health champions across the country. In addition to serving as the secretariat for the Bangladesh Mental Health Network, we are also engaged in promoting mental health awareness and care through our collaboration with 21 organizations. Bangladesh can count on IWF's extensive experience and expertise to make a real difference in the country's mental health.
