Innovative chemistry group Overview

The Innovative Chemistry group is now being assembled as part of a Horizon Europe ERA Chairs grant, with Prof. Alexander Dömling being the ERA Chair. Professor Alexander Dömling leads the Innovative Chemistry Group at Palacký University Olomouc's Czech Advanced Technology and Research Institute (CATRIN). His research focuses on miniaturizing and automating synthetic chemistry, particularly through multicomponent reactions. A notable achievement is the development of the Acoustic Droplet Ejection technology platform, enabling precise high-throughput synthesis applicable to various chemical and biological projects. The group's work is supported by significant grants, including the ERA Chair ACCELERATOR project and the ERC Advanced Grant for the AMADEUS project.
