The firm was established in 2007 under the name “Newhouse Rusin” – the names of its founding partners; to provide comprehensive tax and accounting services to entrepreneurial business owners and independent professionals.
From that nucleus, we’ve grown and developed into a full-service boutique-style accounting firm providing high-quality, innovative, value-added services to our diverse client base. As licensed public accountants, we are able to provide a full range of audit and assurance services. Notwithstanding our growth and diversification, the firm retains it’s specialism in tax advisory.
In 2016, the firm was re-named Innovo LLP, a name derived from Latin origins that embodies and exemplifies the innovative and refreshing character of the work that we do. By chosing a non-personalized name, we are one of the few CPA firms in Canada that have chosen to do so. This demonstrates our desire to be seen to be different and to ensure you know our focus is on you, not us.
