Meet Team Tanaka! Introducing Will Tanaka, JD and Leonie Kimura Lam, R, a dynamic husband and wife duo committed to making a difference in Hawaii's real estate industry.
With extensive backgrounds in the Hawaii real estate industry, Will brings a wealth of knowledge as a licensed Attorney, former General Counsel of the nation's largest escrow and title company, and President of a local Escrow & Title company. He also imparts his expertise as an adjunct professor specializing in Real Estate Law at the University of Hawaii Richardson School of Law. Born in Tokyo, Japan, raised in Gardena, California and after graduating from from UCLA, Will's journey led him to Hawaii for law school at William S. Richardson School of Law (University of Hawaii at Manoa).
Leonie is a seasoned leader who spent two decades in executive positions with Hawaii's top brokerages. Now a full-time real estate broker and a board member for the Honolulu Board of Realtors in the East Oahu and Molokai Regions, Leonie is dedicated to serving her clients with unmatched professionalism and care.
Together, Will & Leonie have five children (ages 11 to 16) attending Iolani and Punahou Schools. They live in Kaimuki in a multi-generational home caring for Leonie's wonderful parents (ages 82 & 83). Beyond their real estate careers, they find solace in yoga, hitting the gym, and cherishing family moments, from cooking dinners together to enjoying beach days and supporting their children's endeavors in sports and performing arts. Will and Leonie makes time to travel to Japan whenever possible, visiting Will's parents and younger brother’s family.
