Privately-held InSight Biopharmaceuticals Ltd. has been a player in the biotechnology field since 1995. It is active in the development of biosimilars and innovative biologics and diagnostics.
Over the past 15 years InSight has established strategic alliances and developed technologies for manufacturing a wide spectrum of recombinant protein-based generic biopharmaceuticals (biogenerics). Using its drug discovery platforms, InSight's scientists were the first to clone the gene coding for human Heparanase (hpa), a key enzyme in cancer and inflammatory processes. Based on its discoveries, inventions and strong intellectual property, InSight is focused on the development of novel anti-cancer drugs and cancer diagnostics.
