The Verband Insolvenzverwalter und Sachwalter Deutschlands (Registered Association of lnsolvency Administrators) is Germany’s professional association of insolvency administrators.
The focus of our work is the handling of insolvency matters in terms of insolvency administration aimed at restructuring. To this end, we represent the interests of our more than 470 members in dialogue with the political sphere, courts, the business community and other associations.
Our members provide independent, transparent and high-quality insolvency administration. And they go beyond the legal requirements, having obligated themselves to comply with the strict “Principles of Proper Insolvency Administration” (Grundsätze ordnungsgemäßer Insolvenz- und Eigenverwaltung, GOI), and to obtain and maintain certification according to ISO:9001.
The general legal and business basic conditions are subject to continuous change processes. This is why the professional development and training of our members and their employees is of particular importance to us. The VID holds seminars and workshops nationwide and organizes the German Insolvency Administrators Congress in Berlin each year.
