Instar Coaching C.I.C, provides Positive Psychology Education and interventions to adults. Our aim is to make positive psychology accessible to all, to increase positive emotion and well-being, and to connect people in the community using joyful activities. Positive psychology interventions help those who are isolated to feel more connected with others and improve their mental health and wellbeing. When we are feeling anxious, worried or fearful it is quite difficult to feel positive, Positive Psychology concentrates on strengths and builds upon what is going well, leading to a flourishing and meaningful life. The interventions we currently offer are are available online and face to face. We provide Positive Psychology for Life Courses, a six week course available as 3 levels, Part 1, 2, & 3, a membership group to support members to apply the principles of Positive Psychology, An 8 week Self Care Course, which focusses on the foundations of self care, such as sleep, hydration & exercise, Positive Psychology & Meditation courses, which blend the two disciplines to decrease stress and improve wellbeing, and Life Coaching to support individuals to lead fulfilling lives. We also provide Laughter Yoga sessions on a monthly basis. As part of our mission to be inclusive and share positive psychology with everyone, I present a weekly podcast ‘Positivity: A Work in Progress’ with Vie Portland. I am Author of the book ‘Parenting a Violent Child’ which aims to improve family relationships and an E Book ‘Life’s Gifts’ which aims to improve the relationship you have with yourself.
