Institute for Peace and Development (IPD) is a nonprofit organization that aims to promote peace and social cohesion through the support of peace initiatives, civic education, and the promotion of dialogue.
Through our work, we promote a just, open and inclusive society.
IPD was founded in 2019 in Kyrgyzstan and consists of experienced project managers and youth workers with a specialization on conflict transformation and peacebuilding. Members of the organization have already been working together since 2015 in large-scale projects funded by the German Federal Foreign Office as well as provided consulting services for national and international organizations. IPD builds on a strong network of civil society actors all over Kyrgyzstan and is represented through trainers in all seven regions of the country.
