We are Instituto Mar Urbano, a non-governmental organization from Rio de Janeiro that works with the purpose of generating and sharing knowledge about the marine environment, with a focus on human well-being and the natural resources on which life depends. We believe that “what is not known is not preserved” and, therefore, we seek not only to bring what we know to people, but also to stimulate new ways of thinking and acting.
