INSYDE Lab Overview

Laboratory for Development of Information Systems is based at the Faculty of Informatics and Digital Technologies, University of Rijeka. Its three main research areas are: 1) Data management which includes design of various data repositories (databases, data warehouses, data lakes, system catalogs, etc.), data quality and data governance, and transformation and visualization of business data and application of business analytics (business intelligence). 2) Digital transformation of business through strategic planning, management, digitalization, use of digital marketing, SEO, etc. 3) Design and development of web, mobile & desktop information systems with a focus on user experience, interaction design, usability and application in various fields such as education, psychology, economics, culture, health care, multimedia, gaming, computational biochemistry and biophysics, etc. Head of the Lab: * Dr. Božidar Kovačić, associate professor Members of the Lab: * Dr. Patrizia Poščić, full professor * Dr. Sanja Čandrlić, associate professor * Dr. Martina Ašenbrener Katić, assistant professor * Dr. Danijela Jakšić, assistant professor * Dr. Vedran Miletić, assistant professor * Matea Turalija, teaching assistant
