Interecycling, S.A. Overview

INTERECYCLING was founded in 1999, being the 1st Portuguese WEEE's (Waste of Electrical & Electronic Equipments) recycling company (WEEE's). The current facilities at the Santiago de Besteiros' site have a total area of 120.000 m2, of which 8.500m2 are covered and 20.000 m2 outside park. From the very beginning our main goal was, and still is, providing a credible service to the national environmental sector, providing the Portuguese consumers a state of the art unit, which is considered a European reference. Proof of this is that since 2006 we hold four certifications - ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and EMAS registration, and in 2011 the Environmental Permit. Once again it was the 1st WEEE's recycling company in Europe to obtain them all at once. Main services provided: - Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment's Recycling; - Plastic Recycling; - Electrical Cable's Processing; - Other Material's Processing; - Destruction Services; - Temporary storage center for CFCs, Halons, batteries and Lamps.
