International Harbor is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization founded by former special operations veterans dedicated to eliminating human trafficking and abduction through advocacy and action.   International Harbor works to eliminate human trafficking, also known as modern slavery, by providing valuable intelligence and investigative services to local and international law enforcement agencies. These services help track down missing persons, human trafficking victims, and major human trafficking networks that contribute to the $150 billion human trafficking industry. After law enforcement arrests the traffickers and rescues the victims, International Harbor connects survivors with resources to help them recover and reenter society empowered.   Many believe human trafficking is only a crime in poor, foreign countries. However, human trafficking happens in every neighborhood, in every country around the world. Some estimate that up to 4 million people are currently enslaved in the United States alone. The United Nations reports that about 21 million are modern day slaves.   International Harbor relies on private donations to fund its missions.
