Netsuke and sagemono are small finely crafted Japanese art objects developed starting in the 17th century and continuously thereafter. Treasured today by collectors and art enthusiasts worldwide, netsuke and sagemono are found in leading museums around the world and provide endless opportunity to learn about and appreciate Japanese myth, history, art, and culture.
