The ISF(The international Students Fund), an independent South Africa-based non-profit organisation, seeks to financially assist international students in the SADC region, who come from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, but have shown academic prowess and seek to study in South African instututions, with tuition fees.
Minimal scholarship and Financial aid is available to international students studying in South African Universities, bursaries offered by private/independent companies & institutes only consider South African citizens or Permanent resident permit holders in a few special cases. The limited funding that maybe available for international students is mostly only reserved for post-graduate studies. Generally, South African institutions of Higher education offer little, if any, discount on tuition fees, in some cases, the tuition fees for international students are much higher than the average.
