Founded in 1985, the International Erich Fromm Society likes to promote a lively engagement with Fromm's ideas. It serves the preservation, research, development and communication of the scientific findings and ideas of Erich Fromm.
But we are not just concerned with the reflection of Fromm's ideas. Equally important is the examination of questions arising from the relation of Fromm's work to current social problems. In this way, the humanistic thinking and work of Fromm shows us ways in which we can make our society more humane and protect our environment more sustainably.
