Intervention office is a cultural non-profit organization, which uses artistic tools to stimulate social change. Through innovative art formats and workshops we intervene in public, institutional as well as private spaces in urban and rural areas. We respond to social grievances by encouraging people towards a pluralistic, collective creation of society. We are driven by a cosmopolitan ethos, aiming to foster tolerance in all areas of society. We promote gender equality, democracy building as well as art, and cultural education. We intervene on a municipal, national, and international level. One of the main targets is to implement intersectionality in a broad social dimension. Its major project – GRAND BEAUTY – is an award-winning transcultural beauty parlor & meeting place, which fosters appreciation of diversity across Europe. We release our own magazine on beauty & diversity called CHANGING HEADS. GRAND BEAUTY was awarded the Power of the Arts Award 2021.
