InvestiGal – Rede Galega pola Investigación nace para dar resposta aos problemas transversais a todo o sector da investigación en Galicia. Tras unha serie de xuntanzas de todo o persoal investigador interesado en diferentes cidades de Galicia, decidiuse fundar un espazo unitario pola investigación e pronto se creou un grupo de traballo que desembocou na Asemblea Constituinte de InvestiGal do día 29 de febreiro de 2020 en Santiago de Compostela. O número de rexistro de InvestiGal no rexistro de asociacións da Xunta de Galicia é o 2020/024173-1ª.
