At IoT Lab, KIIT, we transform ideas into smart, connected realities. The lab was founded on 5th December 2016 in the School of Computer Engineering under the guidance of Prof. Ashutosh Behura and a dedicated team of professors and researchers. Over time, through consistent effort and innovation, the lab earned recognition as a leading center for IoT activities and research. This dedication attracted an ever-growing number of students, ultimately leading to the formation of a dynamic group known as “The IoT Team.” At KIIT University, recognizing the significance of IoT in shaping the future, we are committed to equipping students with the skills to solve real-world problems using IoT-driven solutions. The IoT Lab is a collaborative initiative spanning the Schools of Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. It brings together a team of enthusiastic students guided by experienced and supportive faculty members at every stage of learning and development. Technically, the IoT Lab functions as a research forum, exploring the potential of crowdsourcing and the Internet of Things for multidisciplinary research with increased end-user interactions. It empowers students and researchers to be at the forefront of innovation and technological progress. Today, the lab boasts numerous successful products and prototypes. In essence, we understand the needs of the hour and work tirelessly to achieve what once seemed unimaginable in the realm of technology.
