ITEC (Iowa Technology and Education Connection) is a statewide organization that promotes meaningful technology integration in Iowa’s K-12 schools. Established as a non-profit organization over 50 years ago, we work together with Iowa school districts, the State Dept. of Education, Iowa Area Education Agencies, Iowa universities, educational technology vendors, and educators like you to provide professional development and leadership opportunities for teachers.
Throughout the year, ITEC hosts webinars, conferences, and student tech fairs to share and promote the great work that Iowa teachers, students, and administrators are doing everyday. We encourage you to attend or provide a session during one of these events to further your own learning or to showcase your own work.
Our organization is led by elected teachers and administrators from across the state that have expertise in educational technology. Elections occur annually, and provide leadership opportunities for those interested.
