Inter-Policy School Summit Overview

TOGETHER FOR GLOBAL IMPACT The Inter-Policy School Summit is an unique event at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy that brings together students from the top public policy schools all over the world for a three-day weekend to work on a carefully selected global challenge or policy project from the current portfolio of a renowned organization. Our mission is to revolutionize the landscape of policy conferences by using all the brainpower of graduate policy students to offer innovative, relevant and rigorous recommendations for a current policy issue. HOW IT WORKS: Over the course of the weekend, 30 selected students are divided into teams of 6 to work on a specifically assigned question provided by the partner organization of that year's Summit. These questions are typically areas within the selected project where the organization is in need of human capital to help them resolve them. The recommendations and ideas the teams come up during the weekend are then presented on the last day of the event to the partnering organization.
