IRC is a producer, developer and explorer of iron ore and other industrial commodities products. Our products are predominantly sold to China, the largest consumer of iron ore in the world.
IRC owns and operates projects in the Russian Far East, taking advantage of 1) Geology, 2) Geography, 3) Infrastructure. It enjoys existing facilities such as road, rail, energy and water infrastructure to deliver high-quality products quickly and at low costs to its nearby customers in north-eastern China.
Although IRC has numerous mining rights and attractive projects in hand, currently, IRC is focusing its resources on K&S, a mine which sits right at Trans-Siberian Railway, which is able to produce 3.2 million tonnes of high-grade 65.8%Fe iron ore concentrates per annum for its Phase One project, and a further optionality to produce 3.1 million tonnes per annum (Phase two) in the future. Phase One of K&S has began trial production in 2016 and ramping up to full production capacity in 2017.
