The IR Club (founded in 2011) represents the combination of investor relations and social media: The online community for IR specialists. The IR Club is one of the largest IR associations worldwide.
One of the IR Club's main objectives is to promote networking, communication, exchange and knowledge transfer among investor relations experts - not only virtually, but also in real life. This means that personal meetings of IR professionals are also to be planned via the Internet platform so that IROs in different cities can exchange ideas and “network” locally.
Who is the IR Club aimed at?
The IR Club is open to anyone who is interested in investor relations or who is professionally or academically involved in the topic.
An important principle of the IR Club is that anyone who is involved in investor relations can become part of the community. Therefore, not only IR managers of listed companies, but also consultants, service providers, academics, students, interns, etc. are welcome to network with other specialists in the IR Club.
Also welcome are colleagues from the areas of private equity, open and closed-end funds, non-listed stock corporations and, of course, all those involved in communication with lenders (creditor relations/fixed income).
All members of the Investor Relations, Financial Communications and Capital Market Communications teams are invited to attend. The fact that larger companies focus on the distribution of tasks (e.g. institutional investors, private investors, annual general meeting, annual report, sustainability/ESG, online, etc.) trains experts whose knowledge we would be delighted to share online and at IR Club meetings.
