IRYS CLUB Overview

Established in 2010, IRYS CLUB (IR Young Scholars Club) is one of three academic clubs affiliated with the Faculty of International Relations. Beyond the exploration of current affairs and skill development, IRYS delves into complex political issues within International Relations, offering students a tangible understanding of theory in practice. Founded with the purpose of bridging the gap between academic and students, IRYS has played a pivotal role in nurturing intellectuals among numerous generations of scholars in the Faculty of International Relations. In recent times, IRYS has distinguished itself through various academic initiatives, including the University Methodology Seminar, the To Athens Academic Competition boasting a prize of up to 400 million VND, and the Politalks series, which addresses the latest international issues. Our club has also produced distinctive articles series such as IRYSCOVERIES, The Figure, and CULTURYSTIC. Particularly noteworthy is IRYS's collaboration in 2022 with the Galileo Society - Association of Students for Scientific Research, who became the first club in the South Vietnam to host the Diplomacy Game, a diplomatic board game model. Building on these accomplishments, IRYS CLUB pledges to continue its legacy, promising an array of engaging and innovative activities in the times ahead.
