Is Where It’s At! is the next leap forward in marketing. Our company intends to become the one stop shop for all marketing and promotion needs nationwide but with a very local focus. This new way to reach consumers/clients and users in general is what we are calling “Knowledge Based Marketing”. Advertising and marketing are an active part of the world we all live in, however it has failed to advance forward with the times in any meaningful way. Despite the internet age with the always-connected customer base, marketing is still firmly entrenched in a ‘newspaper logic,’ which translates visually in the form of banner ads, popups, and general confusion as to who is what on any random webpage. What makes Is Where It’s At! different is simple. We provide a place on the web and on smartphones where businesses, promoters, venues, and others can post their events/sales/specials/offers and have them reach their target customer or audience easily. Our site/app will be a distraction free zone, without any pop- ups or banner ads; events and specials will be all that is posted. Is Where It’s At! was born from a desire, the desire to enable everyone to find exactly what they want to eat, buy or do around where they are at a reasonable price. We intend to provide that, and much more to the end user, and the business clients that will market through us.
