ITATS, a name that was accentuated as an ICON in Travel & Tourism Industry since inception in 1981 and which had gifted more than 30000 professionals to travel industry bouncing back after 10 years under the same leadership of the Founder, President and Course Director Mr. K. C. Jalachandran. This is a dream come to true for many people who had succeeded in Travel Industry career through ITATS and by the methodical teachings of Mr. Jalachandran. A student Mr. Thomas Oommen P, from 56th Batch of ITATS who had grown In Travel Industry in India joined hands with Mr. Jalachandran to make this a reality.
ITATS was established in 1981 with the sponsorship of 3 famous travel agents in Kerala. (1. Kerala Travels, 2. United Tours & Travels & 3. Concord Tours & Travels) This initiative was strongly supported and encouraged by both National Carriers Air India and Indian Airlines. This was the pioneer Travel professional training institute in Kerala which started in Trivandrum and outspread to Cochin and Calicut also. These professionals who had come out of ITATS are working all over the world in different positions in Airlines, Travel Agents, Airports etc.
ITATS resumes it’s operations with it's 1st institute at Thiruvananthapuram aiming to bring high quality professionals to Travel Trade once again. There is a high demand for professionals in travel industry and it will be our endeavor to bring elegant and proficient candidates for the travel trade.
