A shrimp farm is the only project located in the Northern part of Qatar, with production of 1,000 tons of Shrimp, Penaeus vannamei. The farm uses biofloc technology and zero discharge of water to the sea which is the only project that utilizes this technology in the region. The farm is sustainable and has no impact on the environment or is vulnerable to shrimp diseases. The Shrimp brand is preservative free, chemicals are never used, and the shrimp are delicious. The shrimp farm supports the Qatar National Food Security Program.
