It’s Our Day is an ambitious and much needed new charity. We are campaigning for an Act that mandates the primary prevention of mental health in the same way the Mental Health Act mandates for treatment and crisis intervention.
Primary Prevention should not be left to bumper stickers, fridge magnets, sound-bites or Google searches. We are asking those with voices much louder than ours to join our call and demand that primary prevention is mandated in law.
Let's stop waiting for young people to fall before we act.
