’Information Technology Skills for Africa (ITSkills4Africa), is a non-profit organization registered in 2015 ,with a mandate to raise innovative Africans who will takeover and re-innovate Africa taking advantage of technology Fighting unemployment is a national imperative, and a shared responsibility for everyone in a position to make a difference. Our focus areas include: - - Skill acquisition program for Youth - We bridge the knowledge gaps between the University courses and - what is required to work in the market place - We help youth discover their potentials and sharpen their skills - We empower entrepreneurs by taking advantage of technology to increase productivity and also adopt global best practice - Taking advantage of technology we provide templates for entrepreneurs to develop a good business plan and enhance their communication and negotiation skills - We create a nexus between innovative business ideas and implementation - We provide platform for creativity & innovation for production of Africa contents (e.g. Made in Nigeria, Made in Kenya, Made in Ghana, etc) - We provide technology platform for farmers where they manage their farms, learn, connect with peers globally, discover latest technologies, manage farm resources and get access to resources that drive productivity - We empower youths and farmers in rural areas by providing technology platform to increase their productivity - We provide basic training for the aged to take advantage of technology that will improve their personal relationships
