Healthcare is a complex multi-stakeholder ecosystem and requires professionals with diverse cross-sector knowledge and experiences to drive any meaningful change. With this idea, India Young Healthcare Professionals (IYHP) was launched in early 2020 to break the silos and bring together emerging leaders from different healthcare domains on a common platform to collaborate and solve for India Healthcare.
Our 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 is to prepare young healthcare professionals to take on leadership roles and drive positive change in the Indian healthcare ecosystem by providing them access to personal and professional development opportunities alongwith access to cross-sector relationships and resources crucial to developing an in-depth understanding of the complete India health stack. By 2025, our goal is to have empowered 5000+ young professionals to become well-rounded and better equipped to solve for India’s unique healthcare challenges.
Our work serves as a catalyst to accelerate India’s journey towards the achievement of UN SDG III- “Good Health and Well Being for All at All Ages” and our 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 is to create an India where healthcare is accessible, affordable, and equitable.
Our community of 2000+ members, with an average age of 26 comes from 25+ states and 100+ cities, represents every sector within healthcare from medical devices and pharma to public health and healthcare policy, and is committed to driving change in the way health care is delivered in India.
