Jabungu Foundation

Jabungu Foundation was established in February 2021 with the aim of increasing the number of services for disadvantaged and marginalised people in society. Jabungu, 'man of the forest' in a local dialect, was the nickname given to the director as a child because he would walk alone, without fear, in the hostile nature. With this name, he wants to make people understand that they should not live in fear of the world, encouraging them to reveal and exploit their talents to achieve their goals. In this way, the association aims to improve the quality of life of young people and women through innovative, effective, sustainable and value-added solutions. To achieve this, it works in several main areas: - Youth education 📚 - Youth and women empowerment 👩👧 - Gender equality 👫 - Health and hygiene 👩🏾⚕️ - Environment and agricultural development 🌱 - Sports and talent showcasing ⚽🏃🏾♂️ The construction of a secondary school from 2023 is at the heart of the education project. Education is one of Jabungu's major concerns, as it is still limited in Tanzania in 2022. Providing access to quality education is crucial to improving living conditions in the region.
