The "Internships in Japan for AI and Tech Talent" program
aims to promote diversity in the recruitment of IT talent for Japanese companies.
The program also creates opportunities for interns from ODA recipient countries (as per the DAC List of ODA Recipients) to
learn various technical and professional skills at Japanese companies.
The organizer will arrange all the necessary equipment
and cover any required travel and accommodation expenses.
【Project Objectives and Overview】
The global need for IT talent is increasing every year,
and it is becoming increasingly important to diversify talent acquisition sources to attract the best talent.
Consequently, foreign talent from the Global South offers a significant new source of skilled IT professionals.
This project aims to provide internship opportunities
at Japanese companies for foreign talent from
the Global South who are pursuing IT-related fields.
The goal is to identify IT talent who can immediately
contribute to improving the competitiveness of Japanese companies in the IT industry and promote the shift toward DX.
We will promote the establishment of a system for Japanese companies to accept overseas IT talent, regardless of their Japanese language proficiency.
