Like many places in 1977, In Japan, kefir was unheard of. Until our founder discovered its unique health benefits and envisioned sharing this remarkable find with the people of Japan. This vision led to the establishment of Nihon Kefia, which translates literally to "Japan Kefir" (or 日本ケフィア as we're known in Japan).
