The Jay & Sari Sonshine Centre for Stroke Prevention and Cerebrovascular Brain Health was established in October 2023 as a comprehensive stroke prevention centre dedicated to uniting patients, communities, clinicians, and scientists to optimize stroke prevention and improve access to brain care by focusing on patient-centered approaches.
The Sonshine Centre is committed to creating innovative interventions aimed at mitigating the impact of the epidemic of age-related brain conditions on individuals and healthcare systems. By leveraging advanced preventative and lifestyle medicine models, and emphasizing patient-reported and lived experiences and outcomes, the Sonshine Centre strives to create effective, community-focused solutions.
