The name stands for " First Quality of German - Indonesian Extraction " and pays tribute to an enduring, early connection with German firms who quickly realized the potential of the young entrepreneurs. Progress was swift. Before long, a modern office building in the heart of Surabaya's most prominent business district was purchased and a branch office in Jakarta set up. Simultaneously, a partly refrigerated 14.600 sqm warehousing complex, including repacking facilities, located 15 km from the centre of Surabaya with excellent access to a highway was built in order to cope with the increasing volume of business. As a company, PT. Jerindo Sari Utama occupies a central role as an intermediary between manufacturers and end-users. Sales activities, marketing supports (market trend update, new ideas/concepts), technical supports (product prototypes & formulation, new product joint-development), importation, repacking, and distribution of a variety of foreign goods from various countries, most notably from Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Singapore, and USA, are the core business activities of the company.
