Jessup Bangladesh is the gathering of likeminded professionals and students who are committed to practice, promote and profess the best principles of international law in order to build a community which is respectful towards the rights guaranteed in the international legal framework and sensitive to the sufferings of a global citizen.
Jessup Bangladesh believes that organizing the National Round of Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition for Bangladesh (also known ‘Bangladesh Round’, or ‘Jessup BD Round’, or ‘National Round BD’ or Bangladesh Qualifying Round') will help to reduce the knowledge gap among different legal systems of the world which will be instrumental to ensure global harmony and peace.
Jessup Bangladesh is a nonprofit community and runs its activities with the support of the International Law Students' Association (ILSA) and its friends.
Organizing the Bangladesh Round is one of the main responsibilities of Jessup Bangladesh. Jessup Bangladesh, with the support of its friends, works effortlessly to present the law students of Bangladesh a memorable Bangladesh Round every year. Besides organizing the national round, it also works with the advancing teams to ensure their effective participation at the international rounds which takes place in Washington D.C., U.S.A every year.
Jessup Bangladesh further supports ILSA chapters in building their mooting capacity by organizing workshops on international law and mooting skills.
